Terms of Service
Payment
All large fursuit commissions require a 50% deposit to be paid (this deposit is so the proper materials and supplies can be purchased). All deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE!
Payment plans are acceptable in increments no lower than $200 a month.
All suits must be paid in full before work begins, work will not commence before the final payment has been made. Upon completion, shipping costs will be calculated and these must be paid in full before shipping takes place. All prices and quotes on fursuits DO NOT include shipping costs.
For smaller commissions (such as just handpaws or tails) a payment is required in full before work can be started due to the cost of ordering materials. Again, all prices on fursuit parts DO NOT include shipping costs.
From time of final payment, beginning suit construction may take up to 90 days or more depending on the amount of people ahead of you in the queue. Every attempt will be made to do this in a considerable amount of time. Fleeting Fennec is comprised of a singular maker, not a team. It is recommended that clients preparing to commission Fleeting Fennec have a consistent form of income. As a reminder before making a purchase of any kind, all items from Fleeting Fennec are fully customized, handmade luxury items. As a small business, it is important to remember that payment to Fleeting Fennec is not to be treated as a savings account. Please prioritize before committing to a payment! Please contact Lolo to check the status on the commission if there are any concerns.

Deadlines
DEADLINES ARE NOT GUARANTEED UNLESS PAID FOR.
If the client's suit has a deadline, such as a future convention, please inform BEFORE ordering! A $400 order fee will be added to the total. The best will be done to get the commission(s) to the client before the deadline! If there are several suits in the queue before yours however, or it is felt that the deadline is unreasonable, the deadline will not be accepted. If a deadline has been accepted but is not met, the order fee will be refunded. There will only be few openings for accepted deadlines. Contact Lolo to see if there are any openings.
A rush order fee will apply to those requesting a commission done in under 90 days. This fee can vary depending on the complexity of the suit and the amount of materials required. The fees can range between $250 - $500. It must past through the approval of Fleeting Fennec and the other clients.
If there is no deadline provided, one shall be provided to the client with a rough estimate as to when the commission should be completed. This is based off of the time it will take to build and its current position in the queue. This estimate of time is NOT a guaranteed delivery date and may be subject to delays. Delays include, but are not limited to, incoming priority rush orders, out of stock materials, equipment failures, illness, or other extenuating circumstances. If there are any delays in the estimate of time, the client will be contacted immediately with an updated completion time. If a deadline is agreed upon and is unable to be met, the client will be contacted to discuss possible compensation.
Measurements
All measurements are taken at face value, meaning it is the customer's responsibility to ensure that all measurements are correct before being sent to us. Please measure in inches. For hand paws, it is asked that you send a tracing of your hand to ensure the best fitting.
Warranty, Refunds, and Returns
All commissions come with a 60-Day Warranty. If the item the client has commissioned becomes damaged or ripped, or if something falls off or breaks within the first 60 days, the client may return the item damaged and it will be repaired free of charge. If the item appears to have been handled improperly or obviously abused, it will not be repaired. This item will be sent back at the owner's expense. If the item has been worn prior to returning, it is asked that it is washed before sending it. Work will not be done on dirty or soiled items and the product will be sent back at the owner's expense.
THE CLIENT WILL NEED TO COVER THE COST TO SHIP THE ITEM BACK. If the client is located outside of the United States, postage will not be paid by Fleeting Fennec for back and forth shipping. If it is a simple fix, it is advised to find a local person to complete the repair. Please contact Lolo for approval before receiving any repairs or alterations. Suits that are altered without approval from Lolo will result in the revocation of the warranty.
Fleeting Fennec may be willing to accept a refund on an item, however, it must be agreed upon in advance. The items balance will be returned, but the initial deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE. Fleeting Fennec will only accept returns within 60 days with a reasonable reason. If, for example, the client has changed their character design or species, a return will not be done. Materials used for constructing the suit will not be given to the client; such as a partially foamed base, furs, etc.
If Fleeting Fennec does choose to accept a return within the 60 day time frame, I will refund your final payment. You will not get your deposit back and I reserve the right to resell your suit at auction.
If a client would like a FULL refund, it will become their responsibility to sell their slot in the queue. This may be done through auction sites such as Furbuy and TheDealersDen. Approval for such an action is required before going forward with the slot auction. The client will have to redirect the interested party to Fleeting Fennec for a proper quote and approval from Lolo. Any amount that surpasses the original amount of refund is owed to Fleeting Fennec.
FLEETING FENNEC DOES NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR SUITS LOST OR DAMAGED DURING SHIPPING – Postal insurance will be offered and it is the client's responsibility to pay for it!
Order Alterations/Cancellations
Fleeting Fennec reserves the right to cancel any commission at any stage if the commissioner is rude, or displays any threatening or unreasonable behavior. Three warnings will be issued before any cancellation takes place. If the behavior continues after a Cease and Desist order has been issued, Fleeting Fennec reserves the right to blacklist the client and issue out a public beware. The downpayment still remains nonrefundable.
Once the order has been made and materials have been paid for, then no changes may be made to the commission. Please ensure that there has been a proper reference provided. As a reminder, please be aware that you are commissioning Fleeting Fennec for your items. Fleeting Fennec refuses to replicate styles of other makers out of respect for their work. If the client has given approval on a design element, and the item is complete, Fleeting Fennec will not make any major changes. Work in progress photos will be sent while work has commenced for approval from the client. Please be sure to give an honest answer, as things cannot be changed once they're completed.
If the client wishes to cancel their commission before work begins, they may do so; however, the deposit will not be returned. In the instance that a commission has been started when a cancellation request has been entered, a refund will be made. The amount of the refund will differ depending on materials used and work hours spent.
Fleeting Fennec also reserves the right to refuse certain commissions, such as characters that are too complex to make satisfactorily, stylistic differences, copyrighted characters, drug paraphernalia, and more. You will be informed if your commission was refused and why.
Allergy Warning
There are a variety of pets on the premises at Fleeting Fennec's studio. While the best effort is made to not allow any contact between your fursuit and the pets, there is not a guarantee they will be allergen free.
The pets on site include:
- Cats
- Dogs
*Disability Notice
Lolo suffers from several chronic conditions. One of the conditions is Fibromyalgia, a chronic pain and fatigue condition. This affects their work GREATLY and often requires a small leave from work. Severe mental illnesses are also present. So bear in mind that commissions may take a little longer than predicted.
*Zero Tolerance on Sexual Harassment
Sexual Harassment to the maker, Lolo Fennec, will now result in the client's commission being dropped, the rights to a refund forfeited, and the client being blocked and blacklisted. Clients not directly following the terms will recieve only ONE warning about the aforementioned behavior before the consequence takes place.
